Nowadays, the principle of image post processing has been taken in a wrong manner.
Post processing used to be an affair that should deal with minimum alterations to the image to hold the natural beauty of the clicked photo but to the contrary the approach has been adopted more of doing everything using the software available today instead of clicking the best possible shot.
When I visit the websites of photographer or looking into their work on the social media, I can see the immaturity in the use of post processing software i.e. the image is too bright or added with unwanted objects and colours to give warmer look. The result is; bad image that may look good to the non- photographers but in reality no professional photographer will approve the image as good.
The beauty of the image is all ruined and the natural context of the image is all destroyed, if one is concentrating to achieve the image quality in the post processing via a software.
The beautiful composition of the photo is all important to give a photographer a great deal of satisfaction and acknowledgment of their work. To grow to the height of perfection is important instead of getting into the idea of distorting the image of oneself as a professional in the eyes of non- photographers, who do not understand the quality of image but mislead by the colours of the photograph.
Always remember, post processing can give an edge to the picture but not the perfection to be called as awesome piece of work.
